Electronics and Computer Science Society
The ECS Society is a student-run society within the Electronics and Computer Science department. We're here to support you and make your time in ECS as enjoyable as possible! We run a wide variety of socials, meet-ups and industry workshops. Everyone studying in ECS is automatically a member, so feel free to come to any of our events!
The Electronics and Computer Science Society (ECSS) is the departmental society for students in ECS. We run Hackathons, games nights, pub crawls, white t-shirt socials, summer/winter balls, industry workshops and more throughout the year. Naturally, the majority of our members are ECS students who study computer science; electronic or electrical engineering, but students from any discipline across the University are welcome to join ECSS as members.

| Non-ECS Membership | FREE | 01/09/2025 - 31/08/2026 | If you are not studying an ECS course and you want to join ECSS as a registered member, this membership is for you. After 5 days of membership, you will get to vote in our elections. After 10 days of membership, you can stand in an election. |
