Respiratory Society

The Respiratory Society (Resp Soc) is a student-led group dedicated to promoting interest, knowledge, and enthusiasm for respiratory medicine and lung health. We provide opportunities for students to explore this specialty through academic talks, clinical skills sessions, revision events, and networking with clinicians working in respiratory care. Our aims and objectives are to: - Support students interested in respiratory medicine and related specialties - Deliver accessible and engaging educational events - Offer opportunities to develop practical and clinical skills - Raise awareness about respiratory health and current issues in pulmonary medicine - Build a welcoming community for anyone curious about the lungs, diseases of the respiratory system, and future careers in this field
